Sitting on four solid pillars, our Tunnel Bed has an architectural rigid construction, praising the warm and lively wood. The name comes from the empty space below the madras, creating a passage under the bed a “tunnel” or “portal” if you will.
Tunnel Bed is designed and hand-built in Denmark. The natural oak wood comes flatpacked and is easy to assemble. The bed frame is originally constructed to be used with a box mattress, however bed slats can be purchased for an additional fee, which are compatible with other mattress types, like spring mattresses. The mattress depth is adjustable to 8-15 cm from the top edge (ex bed slats).
